In the tumultuous year of 2018, my life took an unexpected turn

when I was struck by severe neurological symptoms linked to Lyme disease. The physical distress was heart-wrenching, but the loss of my ability to speak above a whisper was a blow that cut even deeper.

I found myself trapped in a relentless cycle of bodily

spasms, from my right eye down to my hip. It was a laundry list of afflictions such as Spasmodic Dysphonia, muscle weakness, sensitivity to light and sound, tingling in my face, a droop on the right side of my face, sleepless nights, hot flashes, thyroid irregularities, hormone imbalance, insatiable thirst, dry mouth, unyielding heartburn, chronic allergies and sinus infections, temperature sensitivities, overwhelming fatigue, relentless back pain, foot neuropathy, restless legs, brain fog, heart palpitations, and the list went on.
